The Anker SOLIX X1 Home Battery has 10 kWh of nameplate capacity and 9.6 kWh of usable capacity — the difference (0.4 kWh) is reserved for battery health and cannot be accessed during normal operation. The Anker SOLIX X1 Home Battery uses LFP chemistry. LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the safest residential battery chemistry available, with no thermal-runaway risk and typical cycle life of 5,000–10,000 cycles. LFP is the dominant chemistry for new residential battery products in 2026.

Yes. Residential home batteries remain eligible for the 30% federal Investment Tax Credit in 2026 when paired with solar (Section 48E) or installed standalone under the IRA provisions.
