Get a Free QuoteOur rebate checker covers 73+ incentive programs across 9 states. Here is exactly how we source, verify, and maintain that data.
You pick from 9 supported states (MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, VT, NJ, PA, TX). This immediately filters to programs available in your state, including both state-level and utility-specific incentives.
Select one or more product categories: solar panels, heat pumps, battery storage, EV chargers, or insulation. Each product maps to specific rebate programs — for example, selecting "heat pump" in Massachusetts returns Mass Save and MassCEC programs.
Your existing heating fuel (oil, gas, propane, electric baseboard) determines fuel-switching rebates. Many programs offer higher incentives for oil-to-heat-pump conversions than gas-to-heat-pump.
Income brackets based on HUD Area Median Income (AMI) unlock income-qualified programs. Below 60% AMI qualifies for the most generous tiers. This step is optional — selecting "Prefer not to say" returns standard-income programs.
The system cross-references your selections against all federal and state programs. Each result shows the program name, amount, eligibility criteria, and a direct link to the application. Expired programs (like Section 25D) are shown in red so you know they are no longer available.

| Income level | Rebate.incomeLevels includes selected bracket (or undefined = all) | Income-eligible tier shows only for below-60% AMI |
| Heating system | Rebate.heatingSystems includes current fuel (or undefined = all) | Oil-switching bonus shows only for oil heating |
| Expired flag | Always shown but styled as expired in red | Section 25D displayed with "$0 -- Expired" badge |

A homeowner in Massachusetts selects solar + heat pump, currently heats with oil, income above 120% AMI.
Some programs have annual budgets that can be depleted mid-year. We track budget status when publicly available but cannot guarantee real-time fund availability.
City-level incentives (like Solarize programs or municipal grants) are not tracked. We cover state, utility, and federal programs only.
Some programs have complex tiering (based on system size, efficiency, etc.). We show the maximum available amount — your actual rebate may be lower.
The checker identifies which programs you may qualify for, but does not verify contractor certifications, pre-approval requirements, or application deadlines.
Manufacturer rebates, installer promotions, and utility demand response sign-up bonuses are not included in our database.
The tool covers MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, VT, NJ, PA, and TX. Homeowners in other states will not find their local programs here.
Takes 60 seconds. No personal info required. See every incentive available in your state for solar, heat pumps, batteries, and more.
