The Enphase IQ8+ microinverters convert DC to AC at each individual panel, maximizing production even when some panels are shaded. Enphase’s panel-level monitoring lets the homeowner track performance of every single panel through the Enphase app. The IQ8 series also supports Sunlight Backup — limited daytime power during grid outages even without a battery.

Third-party owned systems (leases/PPAs) may still benefit from the commercial ITC (Section 48/48E) claimed by the financing company.
