Yes. All insulation and air sealing measures identified in the energy audit are fully covered at $0 out-of-pocket cost for income-eligible households. This includes attic insulation to R-60, wall insulation, basement/crawlspace insulation, air sealing, and duct sealing. The contractor handles all EVT rebate paperwork.
Income-eligible households receive $3,000 per unit for qualifying cold-climate heat pumps -- nearly 4x the standard $800/unit rebate. This significantly reduces the upfront cost of heat pump installation, especially for ductless mini-split systems where each indoor head counts as a unit.

No. Vermont Gas Systems offers its own weatherization assistance program for VT Gas customers (roughly 45,000 customers in northwest Vermont). This is a separate program from EVT income-eligible programs. However, if you are a VT Gas customer, you may qualify for both programs. VT Gas also offers the Heat Saver Loan at 0% APR for qualifying improvements.
