MaxiCharger AC is a product family, not one universal commercial configuration. The AC Elite Home 50A is a residential hardwired charger; managed sites need an identified Business or commercial model with the required software and access features confirmed.

Use the Home-versus-Business distinction when one driver controls the space. Home app features should not be presented as a shared tenant billing system.
Request the exact commercial model, administrator controls and reporting requirements. Demonstrate the intended employee and guest access flow before approval.
Confirm reader hardware, payment processor, network agreement and offline behavior. A screen or RFID reader alone does not establish a complete payment service.

For multiple ports, request equipment counts, electrical capacity, access controls and recurring charges as separate line items. No per-port installed price or volume saving is assumed.
Section 30C is unavailable for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. For qualifying property placed in service from January 1, 2023 through that date, the residential credit was 30% with a $1,000 limit per item at a main home. The business credit was 6%, or 30% when applicable prevailing-wage and apprenticeship requirements were met, with a $100,000 limit per item. Eligible location and other requirements still apply. The IRS defines an item as each charging port, fuel dispenser or storage property—not automatically an entire cabinet or household. Confirm historical eligibility and cost allocation with a tax adviser before filing Form 8911. Do not assume state or utility funding is available for a particular model or site.
