What's tricky

Not OCPP-compatible — not a fit for multifamily or workplace deployments that need third-party billing back-ends.
Solar-aware charging requires a complete Enphase install (microinverters + Envoy) to work; it won't add value to a string inverter system.
Wi-Fi only — no cellular fallback. Homes with weak garage Wi-Fi may see session drop-outs until a repeater is added.
First-year firmware releases had occasional bugs around charge scheduling — Enphase patched promptly but staged firmware rollouts are still recommended for fleets.
