The EV48W example is listed by Leviton for home use with My Leviton. A homeowner app is not by itself a tenant billing or public-payment system.
Decide whether charging is complimentary, access-controlled or billed. That operating model determines the needed Leviton product and software, not brand familiarity.
For shared parking, specify account ownership, resident turnover, reporting and payment requirements. Compare managed commercial options with the smart-home family before purchase.

Section 30C is unavailable for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. For qualifying property placed in service from January 1, 2023 through that date, the residential credit was 30% with a $1,000 limit per item at a main home. The business credit was 6%, or 30% when applicable prevailing-wage and apprenticeship requirements were met, with a $100,000 limit per item. Eligible location and other requirements still apply. The IRS defines an item as each charging port, fuel dispenser or storage property—not automatically an entire cabinet or household. Confirm historical eligibility and cost allocation with a tax adviser before filing Form 8911. Do not assume state or utility funding is available for a particular model or site.
