The original Grizzl-E Duo charges two vehicles from a shared output of up to 40 A—not 48 A. Sharing available current can suit long parking periods, but does not give each vehicle the full output at the same time.

Assess each vehicle's overnight energy requirement against the shared output. Parking geometry and cable reach matter as much as the number of connectors.
Agree how electricity costs and access will be handled. The original Duo's power sharing is not a tenant metering or payment service.
Use return times, required departure charge and contingency plans to determine whether shared AC charging is sufficient. No fixed miles-per-hour charging result is assumed.

Request an apples-to-apples comparison of shared output and independent circuits, including electrical work, parking access and ongoing operation. No percentage saving is assumed.
Section 30C is unavailable for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. For qualifying property placed in service from January 1, 2023 through that date, the residential credit was 30% with a $1,000 limit per item at a main home. The business credit was 6%, or 30% when applicable prevailing-wage and apprenticeship requirements were met, with a $100,000 limit per item. Eligible location and other requirements still apply. The IRS defines an item as each charging port, fuel dispenser or storage property—not automatically an entire cabinet or household. Confirm historical eligibility and cost allocation with a tax adviser before filing Form 8911. Do not assume state or utility funding is available for a particular model or site.
